An account book kept by Thomas Jones, Caecoch, Llanelltyd (later of Pantyronen, Dolgelley) to record receipts and payments relating mainly to Llanelltyd Calvinistic Methodist Church, 1831-1835, and used afterwards by officers of Salem Calvinistic Methodist Church, Dolgelley.

Church accounts,

A volume containing copious extracts from the account book of an unspecified church recording sums paid to visiting preachers and other sundry payments made, 1812-1835. The extracts were taken from a volume then in the possession of Edward Griffith, J.P., of Dolgellau, and the church in question may possibly be Salem Calvinistic Methodist Church in that town.

A volume containing minutes of 'Côr Undebol Dirwestol Dolgellau' (Dolgellau United Temperance Choir), 19 November, 1867, and undated, together with a list, and register of attendance of, members, January - June [1868]; particulars of preachers and of Sunday collections at [a Calvinistic Methodist chapel at Dolgellau?], 1876-7; notes on the history of music in Dolgellau taken from a lecture [at Dolgellau] by Edward Williams ('Llew Meirion'), 2 March, 1906; and printed verses entitled 'Bur Wreichionen' and 'Awn ymaith i'r dolydd'. Mounted inside the covers are cuttings of minutes of 'Undeb Cerddorol Dirwestwyr Ardudwy' [1867-9].

Mae'r llawysgrif yn adrodd hanes cynnar Methodistiaeth yn Nolgellau, sir Feirionnydd (ff. 1-3), a hanes yr Ysgol Sul a chapel a sefydlwyd ym 1887 ym Mhendref fel cangen o Gapel Salem (ff. 4-52). Bu'r awdur yn athro yn yr Ysgol Sul ers 1898. = The manuscript relates the early history of Methodism in Dolgellau, Merionethshire (ff. 1-3), and the history of the Sunday School and chapel established in 1887 at Pendref as a branch of Capel Salem (ff. 4-52). The author became a teacher at the school in 1898.
