Notes by R.G. Davies describing the general historical precepts of the Presbyterian movement and in that context the disagreements over Sunday rotas and preaching methods which led to the formation of Crickhowell Evangelical Church, together with letters of resignation from the pastor and several members of Danycastell, 1976, and related papers, 1971-1979. The file also contains circulars, leaflets, posters, press cuttings and letters concerning Welsh Calvinistic Methodist history, church services and general administration at Danycastell; religious conferences; overseas missionary and health work in India and Taiwan; and personal news of members, 1965-1982. Further items include orders of service, 1965-1982, minutes of pastorate committee meetings, 1973-1974, membership rolls of Danycastell chapel and Sunday school, 1975, 1982-1983, and an account of members' contributions, 1976.

Manuscripts and papers, [1601x1937], of or in the possession of the Reverend David Erwyd Jenkins. They largely comprise material of Welsh historical, literary and religious interest, much of which relates to the Calvinistic Methodist movement in Wales during the early nineteenth century and includes transcripts of the letters of the Reverend Thomas Charles and John Jones, Tal-y-sarn. The collection also includes a substantial amount of correspondence addressed to David Erwyd Jenkins.
