Evans, of church records, 1902-1932, including parish registers for Haverfordwest, St Nicholas, Grandston, Llanwnda, Llanychlwydog and Llanllawer, Newport, Llanstinan, Fishguard, Nevern, Meline, and Dinas (St Brynach's), all of Pembrokeshire, Stow-on-the-Wold, Gloucestershire and Rockingham, Northamptonshire; monumental inscriptions from Llanwnda and Newport churchyard, Manorowen and Fishguard, Pembrokeshire and Stow-on-the-Wold, Gloucestershire; and notebooks of some eminent Welshmen; printed articles and cuttings, [1901]-[1964]; drawings, [1898x1909]; rubbings of armorials from Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire altar vessels; correspondence, 1891-1940, addressed to J. Charters, etc.,

A volume of press cuttings from Yr Haul, 1872 et seq., being charters and other public records, 1201-1590, with English translations, relating to the borough of Carmarthen, Whitland Abbey, Dinevor market and fair, Talley Abbey, church goods, plate, etc., in co. Carmarthen, colleges and chantries in co. Carmarthen, etc. The contributions were submitted to Yr Haul by John Robert Daniel-Tyssen, F.S.A., Brighton, with copious annotations by Alcwyn C. Evans. The latter has added, in his own hand, marginal and other notes, a list of contents, and an index of persons. Also included in the volume is a cutting, signed by Alcwyn C. Evans, 23 July 1877, of a short biography of Dr. William Parry, of the Army Hospital of Fort Pitt, Chatham, a native of Llethrach, near Carmarthen.
