Biographical history
The link between the donor's family and Tregeiriog, Llangadwaladr, Denbighshire, and Whittington, Shropshire, is not known.
Archival history
Of the eight deeds and documents withdrawn at the request of Miss A. G. Davies, Prestatyn, on 24 Sept. 1929, six (Nos 96, 102, 103, 105, 106, 107) were returned by Miss A. G. Davies, 46 Teddington Park Road, Teddington, on 3 May 1937. Intimation was received from Miss M. Davies on 19 June 1937, that the entire collection was henceforth to be regarded as a donation.
Immediate source of acquisition or transfer
Deposited by Mrs M. Davies, Teddington, Middlesex, and Miss A. G. Davies, Prestatyn, Flintshire, in 1929, and converted into a donation in 1937.
