The volume bears the names, probably in the same hand as that which inscribed the Latin 'englynion', of Ismael Dafydd (Ishmael Dafyd), printer at Trefriw, Edmd. Prys, 'Almnaciwr [sic] o Ddeheubarth Cymru', and Thomas Evans, 'goed gwdir Trefriw'.
