Pedigree, dated 31 January 1771, of the brothers Robert Davies [II] and Thomas Davies of Gwysaney in the hand of Ralph Bigland, Somerset Herald, extracted by him from a 1622 pedigree in College of Arms, MS Vincent 135, f. 296, probably compiled by Augustine Vincent (d. 1626).
The pedigree includes five fully painted coats of arms and is traced, in the male line only, from 'Madoc ap Mredith [Madog ap Maredudd] Princeps Powisiae', through his son 'Kenwricus Euell' [Cynric Efell].

Pedigree roll of John Meredith of Allington [Trefalun], Denbighshire, compiled in 1604 by his brother-in-law Edward Puleston of Allington and executed by Randle Holme I, containing thirty-six fully painted coats of arms, many impaled or quartered.
In addition to the descent of Meredith from a number of ancestors, the roll also shows that of his wife Ermyn Puleston from Sir Richard Puleston of Emral and Agnes Waren, and that of Ermyn's mother Margaret Almer from Gwaeddfawr. The pedigree is arranged so that the combined arms of John Meredith and Ermyn Puleston, those of Ermyn's parents Edward Puleston and Margaret Almer and those of her paternal grandparents Sir Edward Puleston of Emral and Ermyn Hanmer are prominently displayed side by side at the foot of the pedigree, and below them the personal coat of arms of John Meredith, with its six quarterings. The authorship of the roll was attributed to Edward Puleston by Siôn Cain (see Peniarth MS 269i, p. 43, and M. P. Siddons, Welsh Pedigree Rolls (Aberystwyth, 1996), p. 23). The roll is an example of Siddons' style 3.

Pedigree roll, dated 10 March 1664, with additions to 1672, recording the genealogy of the family of Puleston (or Pyvelesdon) of Puleston, Shropshire, and their descendants the Pulestons of Emral, Flintshire, and of Havod-y-Wern, Allington and Bersham, all in Denbighshire. It was transcribed by John Salusbury of Erbistock from the books of Robert Davies of Gwysaney, Edward Puleston of Allington, and Owen Salusbury of Rhug.
The pedigree is traced from 'Sr Richard Pyvelesdon de Pyvelesdon' (fl. 12-13 cents) and contains no heraldry.

A photographic copy, May 1870, of a pedigree of Sir Peter Mutton of Llannerch, chief justice of north Wales, showing also some of the descents of his second wife Ellen (née Williams), compiled on parchment in, or soon after, 1634/5 by Griffith Hughes.
The roll is an example of a target pedigree (style 7 in Michael Powell Siddons, Welsh Pedigree Rolls (Aberystwyth, 1996)). It includes sixty coats of arms around the circumference, representing the most distant ancestors, with a further twenty-one mostly impaled shields dispersed within the body of the pedigree. At the centre is the personal coat of arms, with twenty-seven quarterings, of Mutton Davies, grandson of Peter Mutton, together with two cartouches. The copy is monochrome and on a reduced scale and is assembled from two photographs; it can be discerned that the majority of the coats of arms on the original were fully painted.

A composite manuscript volume lettered on the spine 'MSS. Collections Relative to Wales, II', being a companion volume to, and a continuation of, NLW MS 6209E, which is also a composite manuscript (sections numbered I-XIII) bound in a similar manner and lettered on the spine 'MSS. Collections Relative to Wales, I'. It appears that the two volumes originally formed one folio manuscript belonging to Edward Lhuyd made up of transcripts by his assistants, contributions by Henry Rowlands and Hugh Thomas, and fragments of earlier manuscripts (see pp. 14-15 of NLW MS 13918F, 'Catalogue of Welsh M.S.S. in Beechwood Library by the Reverend Mr John Jones [?1746-1827] M.A. Fellow of Jesus College Oxon, 1781', i.e. part of the Sebright collection. Pedigree and coat of arms of William Lloyd of Halghton, co. Flint, esq., and his wife Jane, daughter of Ralph Broughton of Plas Isa, Is-y-coed, co. Denbigh, esq., traced from Ynyr ap Cadfarch, Gwaithfoed of Ceredigion, Gruffudd ap Cynan and Maredudd ap Bleddyn ap Cynfyn, with fifty-three other coats of arms, all painted, compiled in 1602 by Rhys Cain of Oswestry, with additions probably in a later seventeenth-century hand. Commentaries on the pedigree are written within nine cartouches, mostly ornamented.

A volume, 1900-[1940s], detailing the history of the Lloyd family of Cwm Bychan, near Harlech, Merioneth, containing numerous painted coats of arms, illuminated initials and other illustrations. It was begun in 1900 by Llewelyn Lloyd and added to probably by his son Guy Ynyr Llewelyn Lloyd and other descendants.
The main body of the text (pp. 9-67) chronicles the descent of the family from the 10th century figure, Gwaethvoed Vawr (p. 9), via the lords of Nannau, Merioneth (pp. 17-39), to the Llwyds of Cwm Bychan (pp. 41-49), and then to their descendants in Flintshire, including the Rev. John Lloyd of Caerwys (pp. 52-57) and Angharad Llwyd (pp.58-59), Llewelyn Lloyd (pp. 64-65) and Guy Ynyr Llewelyn Lloyd (pp. 66-67). Successive generations, each with painted coats of arms, are recorded on a recto and additional information inserted on the verso opposite. Prefatory material (pp. v-vi, 1-8) includes heraldic devices and quotations. Items pasted into the volume include bookplates, 1747-[late 19 cent] (inside front cover, p. i), photographs of gravestones and memorials, 1899-[?1920s] (pp. 27-28, 53, 64-65), a note concerning John Lloyd, [1793x1798], possibly in the hand of Thomas Pennant (p. 56e), and pedigrees drawn up by Philip H. Lawson of Chester, 1919 (pp. 46a-d, 56a-d). Another pedigree by Lawson, 1919, found loose in the volume, is in an archival envelope. An inscription by the donors, 2006, is on p. iii.

English family Bible of the naturalist and traveller, Thomas Pennant of Downing, Flintshire, containing entries of births, marriages and deaths for himself, his parents, wives, children and grandchildren, [1738]-[1840s], in several hands including his own (ff. i verso-iii).
