Biographical history
Arthur Foulkes-Roberts (1864-1941) of Denbigh was a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries, Denbigh. He and his brother R.D. Roberts transcribed various parish registers, tombstone inscriptions, church memorials, probate, episcopal and diocesan records, mostly from Denbighshire and Flintshire.

A scrap-album compiled, 1936-1938, by R. D. Roberts containing press cuttings and other printed items, photographs and engravings, 1808-1938, relating to the town of Denbigh and its history, together with notes by the compiler and Arthur Foulkes-Roberts. Included are bills, 1842-1860, from local doctors and a chemist (pp. 46a-47, 110), and press cuttings from The Free Press, 4-18 February 1911, of a series of articles by A. Foulkes-Roberts entitled 'Denbigh Archives' (pp. 3-31).
