Rectangular print showing two blooms drooping either side of a glass vase. A number of sprigs of leaves are also in the vase, which is resting on two leather bound books, the titles of which are unclear. The print is mounted on light brown paper.

Wisteria blooms and leaves arranged in an ornate jug. The jug has been placed on a pile of three books ' Views in Wales I & II' and 'Nature Gallery Vol I.' The print is mounted on blue paper and has had it's corners clipped giving a slight lozenge shape.

Group portrait of eight soldiers in the Welsh Regiment sitting and standing around a banner proclaiming " Winners of Battalion Challenge Trophy, Penally 1908" below which is a certificate which reads "Battalion Trophy, won by the Llandilo Company 4th Battalion Welsh Regiment at Penally, August 19th 1908" and goes on to list the team members. Unfortunately the team members names are illegible.

In the foreground is a wild rosebush, behind in the far distance are mountain peaks wreathed in mist. These may be the roses mentioned on p172 of 'A Wider Sky' (Gomer, 1991). See also slide 4689/193 for a similar, though less dramatic, view of the same scene.
