[Private, RFA]

Studio portrait of a private in the RFA (Royal Field Artillery) displaying his good conduct chevron and wound stripe on his lower left sleeve and two overseas service chevrons on his right denoting three years overseas service.

[Three men and a dog]

Studio portrait of three men, two in civvies, the third a member of the Royal Artillery. Apart from his regulation uniform he is wearing a lanyard, a bandolier and holding a riding crop. Standing on a table between the three is a dog.

[Pembrokeshire Yeomanry Group Portrait]

Twenty six soldiers, most wearing Pembrokeshire Yeomanry cap badges, including a sergeant and sergeant major (centre). All are wearing bandoliers The photograph has been taken in front of the premises of "William & Walter James, Auctioneers, Valuers, Land Agents & Surveyors" presumably at 9 Carmarthen Street, Llandeillo. No wound stripes or overseas chevrons are visible suggesting the photo dates from the years before the war. One member is wearing an Imp‬erial Service Badge indicating that they are Territorial soldiers, not regular army.

[Couple]

A man in army uniform photographed with, presumably, his wife or sweetheart. No regimental insignia are discernible though he has a medal ribbon on his tunic. This appears to be three light coloured stripes on a darker background. This could possibly be the Military Medal. His wife/ sweetheart has a military badge pinned to her blouse. This is possibly a Royal Artillery badge, but the badge is seen at an angle and partly obscured.
