A volume of letters, 1857-1859, from Ebenezer Thomas ('Eben Fardd') and Mary, his wife, to their son James at the Reverend John Jenkins's school, Abbey Square, Chester; with one letter by James E. Thomas, 1853; a draft statement on a plan for Clynnog school, and 'Eben Fardd's diary, 23 April- 28 May 1855, relating to the fatal illness of his daughter, Catherine.
