Copies of attendance returns for the period May 1904 - December 1905 submitted by the attendance officer of the Machynlleth District Education Committee; and a copy of the statement of accounts of the governing body of the Machynlleth County School District for the year ending 31 March 1907.

Cymanfaoedd ysgolion Sul,

Twenty-eight note-books, 1884-1912, containing miscellaneous data relating to the annual festivals of the Sunday schools of the Calvinistic Methodist churches in the Glandyfi and Llanbryn-mair districts. The contents include minutes of committee meetings, examination syllabuses and results, financial accounts, statistics re Sunday schools, etc. Inset are press cuttings containing reports on the festivals, copies of printed programmes, and other miscellaneous items. Richard Rees served as secretary of the festival committee during the period 1884-1912.

Brief reports on the Sunday schools [of the Calvinistic Methodist Connexion] at Derwenlas and Penegoes (1881), Abercowarch, Blaen Cowarch, Derwenlas, Dinas Mowddwy, Forge, and Penegoes (1887), and Machynlleth ( undated); similar reports on the English Presbyterian Sunday school at Machynlleth (1881, 1887); and statistical returns (undated) relating to the membership of the [Calvinistic Methodist] churches at Aberangell, Cemmes, Derwenlas, Forge, Llanwrin (Seion), Mallwyd, Pantperthog, and Penegoes, and their Sunday schools; all the said places being in co. Montgomery.

Machynlleth water supply,

Miscellaneous items, 1893-1895, relating to the provision of a water supply for the town of Machynlleth including a letter from W. Wyatt, Shrewsbury, to the clerk of the Machynlleth Rural Sanitary Authority, April 1893 ( reporting upon the writer's examination of three proposed schemes of supply) (printed copy); estimates, June 1893, in respect of ? four schemes; a letter from J. M. Wright, Chester, to the Dowager Marchioness of Londonderry, April [18]95 (reporting on the writer's examination of five proposed schemes) (cyclostyled copy); and a letter from C. A. Dalton, assistant secretary, Local Government Board, Whitehall, to D. Evans, clerk to the Machynlleth Urban District Council, July 1895 (the Board's approval of one of the schemes proposed, instructions as to initial procedure) (copy).

Sermon notes,

A pocket book containing sermon notes in Welsh ? by, and in the hand of, [the Reverend] Lewis Williams, Wesleyan minister, London, whose name, with the date 27 September 1842, appears on a fly-leaf at the beginning of the volume. The last page bears the date 1 July 1846. Miscellaneous memoranda in English have been inserted on a few pages.
