(I) Address of welcome to Mrs E. J. Williams from the women of the Bryn Crwn district on her arrival in Patagonia, 10 July 1891. (Ii) Estimate of the cost of extending the Railway from Gaiman to Rhyd-yr-Indiaid. (Iii) Certificate of apprenticeship of Edward J. Williams of Bank Hall, Mostyn, to Joseph J. Williams, of Pantgwyn House, Holywell, co. Flint., mining engineer and surveyor, for three years, 24 May 1878. Endorsed is a note, 27 May 1878, signed by J. J. Williams to the effect that Edward J. Williams had served his apprenticeship faithfully and honestly. (Iv) Testimonial to Edward J. Williams from Joseph J. Williams to the effect that he had served his apprenticeship for three years, and served as J. J. Williams's assistant for twelve months and that he had written two books, a 'Handbook to geology' and an 'Essay on the mineral resources of Flintshire and Denbighshire'. There is an added testimonial signed by the chairman and members of the Holywell Local Board, [1879]. (V) Certificate (passport) given to E. J. Williams by the British Consul in Buenos Aires, when he went out to Patagonia for the first time, at the age of twenty-three years, 1881. (Vi) Share certificate of Edward Jones Williams in the Chubut Company, 24 Oct. 1890. (Vii) Share certificate of Richard J. Griffiths in the Chubut Mercantile Co., 24 Jan. 1895. (Viii) Memorandum of agreement between the Port Madryn (Argentina Co. Ltd.) and Edward Jones Williams as constructing engineer, to extend the railway line from its present terminus to Gaiman, 28 Jan. 1908. 8 Items. Formerly I. Mostyn Williams 4-11.
