Includes "Personally I would feel happier if the system did not show precisely the number of 10 km. squares with [kite] breeding records, mainly because this betrays the preponderance of Cardiganshire records compared with Carmarthenshire ones ... and is therefore against our agreed policy of keeping quiet about the strength of the Cardiganshire population" (letter from Peter Davis to Col Salmon, Feb. 1970) (see also B 4).

Orton of Alverchurch watcher's diary and report to RSPB Newtown on a peregrine's nest 'on DG Rocks', 1975; and a letter from Roger Lovegrove, RSPB Wales Officer, that "should you have any reasonably decent corpse in your hands in the next couple of years" it would be a great favour if it could be frozen and lent to Charles Tunnicliffe, "as he has a great ambition to add Red Kite to this collection" of measured drawings of British birds, 1975.

Photocopies of J. A. Walpole-Bond's diaries of his visits to Wales, taken from transcripts printed in the 'Bulletin of the Jourdain Society', 1901-1903, and from the author's much less detailed manuscript diary, 1904-1930.
