Papers related to a long running campaign to ban smacking children, through removal of the "reasonable chastisement" in Welsh law. The file includes correspondence with Assembly Members, Ministers, legal officials and the Director of Public Prosecutions, Keir Starmer and an opinion from the First Minister, Carwyn Jones indicating that he believed the law was within the competence of the Assembly.
