Mont., to Elizabeth, Countess of Powys, to stay proceedings brought by Richard Price of Bettus in the name of the Earl of Powys for arrears of rent of a cottage he shares with an old woman, on the grounds that petitioner had discovered many cottages and inclosures in the manor ofKedewen for the Earl of Powis and his agent and in revenge for his pains he was imprisoned for 13 months by the confederacy of Thomas Jones of Manavon, dec., and Thomas Modson. Petitioner had delivered his own cottage and goods (specified in a schedule) to one of the Earl's servants whilst he was in prison.
