[Winners of Battalion Challenge Trophy , Penally 1908]
Group portrait of eight soldiers in the Welsh Regiment sitting and standing around a banner proclaiming " Winners of Battalion Challenge Trophy, Penally 1908" below which is a certificate which reads "Battalion Trophy, won by the Llandilo Company 4th Battalion Welsh Regiment at Penally, August 19th 1908" and goes on to list the team members. Unfortunately the team members names are illegible.

Eight soldiers and officers of the Welsh Regiment clustered around a plaque proclaiming them "Winners of Battalion Challenge Trophy, Penally, 1908" underneath which is a certificate. A Territorial Army summer camp was held at Penally in 1908.

A corporal in the Pembrokeshire Yeomanry seated in front of a bell tent, presumably during a Territorial Army summer camp. His uniform, including a pillbox hat is more reminiscent of the nineteenth rather than the twentieth century.

Half-length studio portrait of a smartly dressed veteran. On his left breast he sports two medals. Reference to the medal ribbons suggests they may be the India Medal and the Ashanti Medal, both late C19th.
