Minute books

The series consists of bound volumes containing minutes of the meetings of the South Wales and Monmouthshire Football Association, 1892-1962. Included are minutes of the Association's regular General Committee meetings, together with meetings of the committees and sub-committees beneath the Association, such as the annual 'Rules' meeting, Finance Committee, Emergency Committee, League Sanction Committee and various sub-committees. From 1894 onwards, the minute books also contain the Association's accounts with details of both receipts and expenditure. Most of the minute books also contain details of fixtures and results for the cups run by the Association, lists of affiliated leagues, clubs and referees, and information about them. The earlier volumes contain mostly handwritten minutes, but the later ones have mostly typed minutes pasted into the volumes. The volumes also include letters notifying members of various meetings, some minutes of meetings of the Football Association of Wales, some newspaper cuttings, and election forms for electing vice-presidents and committee members.

Minutes

The series comprises minutes and papers of meetings 5-9, including minutes of KS3 Steering Groups and Welsh Subject Group, and other steering groups, and reports on aspects of the curriculum for Wales.
