One of forty-one volumes containing transcripts of, and extracts from, parish registers and bishops' transcripts of parish registers principally from Monmouthshire, in the autograph of Bradney, with several insets in the autographs of John Hobson Matthews (Monmouth), Francis Green (St Davids), John Davies (Aberystwyth) and others. This volume contains transcripts and extracts from the parish registers of Abergavenny, 1697-1794.

A typewritten catalogue, with some manuscript insertions, by Francis Green, St Davids of deeds and documents, sixteenth to nineteenth century, in the possession of J. H. Davies [i.e. the Cwrtmawr collection of deeds now in the National Library of Wales and described in detail in a typewritten catalogue (1956)] relating to the families of 'Saunders of Pendine, Vaughan of Jordanston, Warren of Trewern, Allen of Cresselly, Philipps of Trellewellin (Manerawen), Price of Pendine, Williams of Dolgwm, Lewis of Llanveyney (Llangurig), Nelthorpe of Carmarthen, Shorter of London, Owen of Orielton, Lloyd of Peterwell, Powell of Mydrim, Wilkin of Lanrian, Higgon of Spittle, Williams of Pencarreg, Stedman of Strata Florida, Lewis of Llysnewydd and Herbert of Llanvihangel y Croythin', and of deeds and documents, sixteenth to seventeenth century, from the same collection relating to properties in Cardiganshire.

Draft notes, extracts, memoranda, etc., by C. F. Egerton Allen relating to the arms of Pembrokeshire and other families. The material is based on printed sources, memorial stones and tablets, and bookplates, and among the longer items are 'Notes for Ordinary of Arms in Enderbie' (see N.L.W. MS. 12219D) and 'An attempt to trick the coats of arms blazoned in an App[endi]x to Laws 'Little England beyond Wales' pp. 424-446'. Much of the material is written on the dorse of a variety of printed sheets relating to the disarmament conference summoned by Nicholas II of Russia [1899]. The collection comprises records from the office of Williams & Williams, Haverfordwest, solicitors, largely deeds and draft deeds, mostly 19th century, and many relating to the Haverfordwest area of Pembrokeshire. In the course of their work, Williams & Williams accumulated legal and other papers relating to their clients interests, including the estates of Ambleston, Begelly, Brawdy, Camrose, Court House, Cwmgloyne, Hean Castle, Hodgeston, Hook, Manorbier, Manorowen, Orielton, Pigeonsford, Somerton, Treffgarne, Ty Gwynne, Walwyns Castle, Welsh Hook, Wilsons, Wolfsdale and Yelverton. There are also documents relating to the Fishguard Harbour Improvement Company, several railway companies and a large number of probate records and marriage settlements. There are also groups of deeds and documents relating mainly to properties in Carmarthenshire, Glamorganshire and Pembrokeshire. There are also documents relating to church properties, nonconformist chapels, poor rate papers, articles of apprenticeship and articles of partnership.
