Poèmes de Taldir (Tome V)

A volume of manuscript poems by Taldir, 1944-1946, entitled 'Derriere les Barreaux' / 'Drek ar Barinier' ['Behind Bars'], being his fifth volume of poetry. The volume belongs to the period of his imprisonment. It contains pencil notes by M. André Dezarrois.

Six notebooks containing cuttings of articles by Taldir, consisting of volumes 1-5, each bearing the title 'Courrier de Basse-Bretagne', containing articles published in Le Nouvelliste de Bretagne (Rennes), 1928-1931, together with volume 6 containing cuttings of a narrative entitled 'Sous le règne du duc Jean VI', published in La Bretagne (Morlaix- Rennes), 28 December 1943-26 January 1944. A few further cuttings and notes, 'Annexes (sous l'occupation Allemande)', 1943-1944, are inserted in vol. 5; four cuttings, 1941-1942, from his column 'Kojou an ti bihan' from Ar Vro Goz (Landerneau) are also included.

Two notebooks, compiled by Taldir, containing press cuttings relating to the International Celtic Congress, Dublin, 1925, and the visit of a Breton delegation to Britain and Ireland, 1927; together with a menu for a Welsh-Breton dinner, 1934, and other miscellaneous items.

Loeiz ar Floc'h

A volume containing cuttings of stories by Loeiz ar Floc'h (Stourmer, 1868-1936) published in Ar Bobl, 1910-1913. The titles are 'Deuz ar Garantez d'ar Maro', 'Histor fentus hag estlamus ar C'habiten Bimbao, mestr al Laëron-Vor', 'Avanturiou an Aotrou Skrabelaou' and 'Merc'h ar Boutaouer-Koat'. Cuttings of the subsequent stories 'Kloareg Kerilis', 'Jozon Kerzare ar bugel gwerzet' and 'An Diou Vuntrerez', [1913]-[1914], have been loosely inserted in the volume. Also included is an incomplete copy of the same author's Va zam Buez (Keraez: Moullërez Ar Bobl, 1915).
