The file comprises offprints and proofs of a brief article by Aneirin Talfan Davies entitled 'A Note on David Jones', published in Poetry Wales, vol. 2, no. 1 (Spring 1966), pp. 33-6). A covering letter from the author is dated 6 May 1966.

Over a hundred letters, 1964-1980, from Aneirin Talfan Davies to Katharine Taylor Loesch, University of Illinois, Chicago, relating mainly to personal matters but also containing references to his work and to Welsh and English literature.

The file contains a script of a reading by David Jones (introduced by Aneirin Talfan Davies) of 'Two Fragments of a Work in Progress' ('The Wall' and 'The Tutelar of the Place') recorded by the BBC on 9 November 1956, and broadcast on 18 December 1956. There is also a letter from Aneirin Talfan Davies and a newspaper cutting relating to the broadcast.

The file comprises papers, mostly correspondence, 1968-1969 and 1972-1973, relating to Contemporary poets of the English language (London, 1970 and 1975). Glyn Jones was an editorial consultant to the work, and recommended Anglo-Welsh poets for inclusion in the volume, as well as contributing articles on Leslie Norris and R. S. Thomas, drafts of which are included in this file. Among the correspondents are Rosalie Murphy, editor of the first edition (13), Aneirin Talfan Davies, R. Ralph Maud and Aneirin Talfan Davies (London, 1963), mostly consisting of correspondence, including two letters from Aneirin Talfan Davies; together with related notes; a list of poems for inclusion in the volume; a memorandum of agreement, 1964, between the authors and publisher; and an agreement, 1966, between Ralph Maud and the University of Pittsburgh Press regarding a work entitled 'Entrances to Dylan Thomas' Poetry'.
