Account book,

A volume containing an inventory of the estate of the late David Allen, Esq., of Dale, Pembrokeshire, 9 May, 1786, and statements of accounts, 1786-1822, of Abraham Leach the younger and John Leach, executors of his will; a statement of account with Messrs. Thomas Coutts & Co., London, 1787-95; and statements of accounts with Mrs. Elinor Lloyd of Dale Castle, and with legatees under her will, 1786-1834. Among the few insets is a holograph letter from B. R. Robertson, Haverfordwest, to John Leach, Pembroke, 1829 (the redemption of a bond).

Summers, Haverfordwest, to the Reverend F. G. Leach, St. Petrox, 1842 (the payment of interest due to the late Jno. Leach from the Tavernspite [Turnpike] Trust).

[Thomas] Coutts & Co., London, from J[ohn] Leach, Pembroke, 1801-3 (the purchase of stock, and the receipt of dividends on the property of the late Nicholas Dunn, brother of Mrs. Lettice Leach of Bullibar), and from Nic[hola]s Leach, Bullibar, near Pembroke, 1808 (the transfer of stock in the name of the writer's mother, Mrs. Lettice Leach, and the receipt of dividends); and statements of account relating to the same between Messrs. The insets include copies of two letters from John Leach to Messrs. Thomas Coutts & Co., 1794-5 (the purchase of stock, the payment of bils, the receipt of dividends); holograph letters from Messrs. Thomas Coutts & Co., to John Leach, 1811 (the probate of the will of the recipient's father), R. T. Tyler, Llantrithyd, to the Reverend F. G. Leach and the Reverend Wm. Allen, 1845 (allowances towards John Leach's expenses at College, etc.), and Messrs. [Thomas] Coutts & Co., Strand, London, to John Leach at Ivy Tower, Tenby, and Stubbings House, Maidenhead, 1862-72 (the purchase of stock); and miscellaneous vouchers and draft accounts, 1812-68.

A volume containing a rental of properties of the Reverend Dr. Hugh Thomas and Mrs. Mary Thomas in Tenby (e.g. Scotsborough, Knightson, Cornishdown, etc.), 1765-1818, and (beginning at the end) a statement of receipts and disbursements on behalf of Hugh Thomas and Mary Thomas, 1765-1819. The later accounts were kept by Jno. Leach.

Inset are holograph letters from J. Leach, Pembroke, to David Raymond, Crunwear, 1836 (the purchase of property), and G. Raynes to [John Leach], [18]65 (the purchase of hoops for a cooper's use).
