A transcript by the Reverend William Roberts, Abergele, of a manuscript herbal 'Llysieu-Lyfr yn cynnwys enwau amryw ddail, a'u rhinwedd i iachâu amryw glefydau' by, or belonging to, Owen Rowland, Blaen y Nant, Llandygai, Caernarfonshire, herbalist and bone-setter, and of additional entries attributed to Griffith Williams ('Gutyn Peris'), Hugh Derfel Hughes and others. Extensive notes have been added, mainly in red, by William Roberts. The volume is inscribed 'Dyma derfyn y llyfr a gopïais ai gynnwys oll. William Roberts, Groes Lwyd, Abergele, 21 Ebrill, 1884' on f. 136.
