A typescript copy of a report on the Welsh colony in the Chubut Valley, Patagonia, prepared by the Reverend David Powell Richards, M.A., chaplain in the Royal Navy, and addressed by him from H.M.S. Flora, at Monte Video, 8 April, 1901, to the Hon. Sir William A. C. Barrington, K.C.M.G., H. M. Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary at Buenos Aires. Accompanying the report are numerous appendices and insets, including a typescript statement of authorities as to the boundaries of Argentine; typescript extracts from The Review of the River Plate, 8 September, 1900, and Y Drafod, 9 November, 1900, touching the results of recent municipal elections in Chubut; a typescript copy of a letter, 4 July 1900, from R. Groome, commodore, H.M.S. Flora, to the Secretary of the Admiralty, reporting on his visit to the Welsh colony; manuscript copies of a letter, 29 August, 1901, from Hy. Vansittart Neale, Admiralty, to A. K. Wilson, Vice-Admiral Commanding, Channel Squadron, and a letter, 11 September, 1901, from H. D. Barry, Captain, H.M.S. Mars, at Lagos, to Vice-Admiral A. K. Wilson, touching arrangements for an interview between the Reverend D. P.
