Miscellaneous papers, 1856-1939, with annotations in the hand of Owain Llewelyn Owain, mostly relating to Caernarvonshire, including a letterbook, 1856, pertaining to Bryn Hafod y Wern slate quarry, Bethesda; a tribute, 1876, to Hugh Owens, Tal-y-sarn, musician, and father of Owain Llewelyn Owain; typescript copies, with manuscript emendations, of two speeches by David Lloyd George, the first delivered at Caernarfon in June 1930, and the second at Bangor, 17 January 1935; and a draft of a speech by Sir Thomas Artemus Jones, chariman of the North Wales Tribunal of Conscientious Objectors, delivered at Caernarfon Town Hall in November 1939.

Diary, 1870-1895, of William Griffith, Coetmor, Pen-y-groes, Caernarvonshire, a deacon at Bethel Calvinistic Methodist church, Pen-y-groes, containing occasional entries, mostly of a religious nature. Also included are transcripts of some twenty poems by William Griffith, written between 1857 and 1891, many of which were published in Baner ac amserau Cymru. Items found loose inside the volume have been tipped in on ff. 16-21.

Literary papers, [c. 1877]-[c. 1915] (watermark 1877, f. 68), of Robert Bryan, poet and musician, including over thirty draft poems, many of which were published posthumously in Tua'r wawr (Lerpwl, 1921); and several prose pieces, including a tribute, [c. 1884], to Thomas Carlyle (ff. 87-96). Many items were written on the dorse of printed advertisements and other material pertaining to the firm of 'Bryan Brothers, General Drapers, Carnarvon', owned by Robert Bryan's brothers, Edward and Joseph, in the 1880s.
