Glan y Gors a Daniel Davies o Gorwen y ngylch Tref Lundain' (ff. 10-12 verso) was published in the pamphlet Dwy o Gerddi Newyddion ([Chester]: Thomas Huxley, [?1791]) (JHD 209bii; not recorded in ESTC). A note on f. 8 states that 'Cerdd yn dangos meddyliau Morwyn Ieuangc ddydd ei phriodas' (ff. 8-10) was published in London in 1797 but there are no known copies extant. A further poem [?in a different hand] is on ff. 128 verso-129. Items found loose at the beginning of the volume have been tipped in on ff. i-iv; these include a list of contents of the manuscript (f. i), a printed elegy for William Owen Pughe by John Jones (Tegid), 1836 (f. iii), and a series of englynion by Siôn ap Morgan (f. iv).

Among the titles are '3 Englyns written in Peblig Churchyard', 'Englynion i Gorph y gaingc', and 'Englyn in praise of West in the Denbigh Election 1820' (with a reply).

The material includes a draft autobiography of Robert Ellis; an introduction written for a collection of Ellis's work under the proposed title Mwyar Berwyn; a draft of part of the first chapter of a biography of John Williams, Baptist minister (Llangollen, 1871); notes for Esboniad ar y Testament Newydd Cyfrol III (Llangollenn, 1878); poetry; diaries, 1840-1866; correspondence, 1833-1875; sermons; lectures; essays; adjudications at eisteddfodau, [1860x1875]; and miscellaneous notes, transcripts and extracts. Folding case for Rev. Thomas Charles letter

A folding case formerly housing a letter, 29 May 1813, from the Rev. Thomas Charles, Bala, to Joseph T. Price, Neath Abbey (now NLW MS 24045F, f. 38). Affixed to the case is a paper label attesting to the loan of the letter to the Ecclesiastical Art Exhibition held during the Church Congress at Swansea in October 1909.

The Christian Lady's Pocket Book for 1798 belonging to the Rev. David Jones of Llan-gan, Glamorgan, and Manorowen, Pembrokeshire, the prominent Methodist preacher, containing brief diary entries noting day-to-day activities, preaching engagements and tours (pp. 14-118, versos only) with additional material occasionally added on facing pages.
Two short prayers in Welsh are on pp. 111, 113. Additional memoranda, in pencil and ink, 1817-1831, appear to be in the hand of his grandson, the Rev. Lewellin Lewellin (pp. i, iii, vi, 146 and inside the covers). The volume also incorporates printed poetry, prose, tables and other information (pp. 1-12, 121-144). A few extracts from the diary, translated into Welsh, were published in 'Lloffion ar ol yr Hybarch David Jones, Llangan', Y Drysorfa, 70 (1900), 129-131 (pp. 129-130).
