A volume containing a catalogue, July 1809, of the library of Theophilus Jones of Brecon, author of the History of Brecknock. A price is noted for each book and a statement showing the amounts received at the sale of the books has been inserted in pencil on p. 137. Coloured drawings of various objects have been executed on pp. 166, 168, 170, 172, 174 and 176. Bound up with the book is a printed volume entitled An Essay on the Invention of Engraving and Printing in chiaro oscuro (London, 1754; 34 pp.).

A volume containing two 19th century copies of the confirmation of the Charter of Pembroke dated 6 July, 5 Jac. I. The second copy (1809) is labelled 'Charter of Pembroke and Haverfordwest' but does not contain the Charter of Haverfordwest.

A mid 15th century manuscript in English prose entitled Here begynneth a booke which is called Brute, the Cronycles of Englonde. There is an introductory paragraph (as in Harley MSS 1337, 2182 and 6251 and Stowe MS 71) beginning 'This booke treteth and telleth of the kynges and principal lordes that euer were in this londe ...' followed by a long rubric (as in Harleian MS 2182), mainly defaced, beginning 'The prolog of this booke declareth hou this [londe] was callyd Albyon ...'. The text begins on p. 2 and, like the majority of the manuscripts of the English Brute (see F. W. D. Brie, Geschichte und Quellen der mittelenglischen Prosachronik The Brute of England, 1905, p. 62), this manuscript ends with the capture of Rouen by Henry V in 1419. Illuminated initial and border on p. 1; chapter-initials in blue, with red flourishes; headings in red.

A volume containing register of Tirdunkin or Tir Doncyn chapel in the parish of Llangyfelach, better known as Mynydd Bach chapel, containing records of attendance, births, marriages and deaths, lists of officers, ministers and members, etc.

A volume containing the register, 18 cent., of Mynyddbach Congregational Chapel, Llandeilo, including names of members, baptisms, deaths, accounts, etc.; this is a valuable document and is numbered in folios. The first 38 pages of the volume were apparently written by members of the Christmas family and includes an account of the marriage of David and Jemima Christmas in 1808, together with the names of their children; it is possible that this initial section was sewn into the latter portion when the book came into the possession of David Christmas.

A volume containing the membership book of the London Cymreigyddion Society, 1797-1826.

A bundle of papers, 1797-1840, consisting of notes, correspondence, cuttings, etc. relating to the life and work of the Reverend John Blackwell, B.A. (Alun, 1797-1840) and collected in preparation for the book Ceinion Alun (Rhuthun & London, 1851); the papers also include an imperfect sermon by the Reverend John Blackwell and notes on the Welsh Bible.

A commonplace book which consists mainly of original poems by an anonymous writer, [c. 1774]-[c. 1781].

A bundle of loose papers, 16 & 19 cents, largely containing transcripts and copies of manuscripts; also including a bond, dated April 24 1587, for the payment of #20. A note, dated October 21 1893, by Egerton Grenville Bagot Phillimore, the former owner of the manuscript, states that '"The Hymns of St. Curic", of which a modernised transcript was printed in "Cambro-British Saints" (p. 609) are not here. They were given by Mr. H. W. Lloyd to the late Chevalier Lloyd of Clochfaen, who was unable when applied to by me to trace them.'
