The file includes letters (1993-1994), from Greg Hill (unsigned) (1), Kevin Thomas (1), Gillian Clarke (1), and Tony Conran (1); a poster advertising the event (1994); typescript copies of poems intended to be featured ([1994]), including a verse from Aneirin’s 'Gododdin', and the poems ‘Aneirin Speaks’ and ‘Heroes’, by Raymond Garlick, and ‘Over the Top’, ‘Elegy for the Welsh Dead in the Falkland Islands, 1982’, and ‘Becca at the Gate’ by Greg Hill; and a copy of the booklet ‘Ancestors: Translations from Early Welsh Verse & Variations on a Theme’ by Greg Hill ([?1994]).

File comprises research notes for the television series 'A Welsh life', based around interviews with distinguished Welsh people along with correspondence with the subjects of the programme and within the production team. Subjects of the programme include; Alan Protheroe, Lord Merlyn Rees, Tony Lewis, Gillian Clarke, George Charles Henry Victor Paget, 7th Marquess of Anglesey, the 7th Marquis of Anglesey, Meredith Edwards, Dannie Abse, Baroness white of Rhymney, Sir David Walters, Lord Cudlipp and Wilfred Wooler.

Letters to Sam Adams from Robert Minhinnick (4), R.S. Thomas (2) and Gillian Clarke (2) concerning poems to be published in Poetry Wales and the Anglo-Welsh Review, as well as social matters, including copies of poems by Gillian Clarke, together with a letter from Anthony Conran concerning a proposed anthology to be edited by Gwilym Rees Hughes.

The Writing in Wales Welsh Academy resource pack for schools was published in 1986 with the support of the Welsh Arts Council and the assistance of the Polytechnic of Wales. The pack was edited by Tony Curtis and Cliff James and contributers included Gillian Clarke, Jonah Jones and Roland Mathias.
The group contains various correspondence, papers and drafts of articles prepared for the Writing in Wales Welsh Academy Research pack.

Photocopied and published press reviews of Gwyneth Lewis's volume of poetry entitled Zero Gravity, with related publicity material including lists of contacts for reviews and the launch, copies of published poems by other poets, and copies and offprints of published articles about female poets and Welsh poets; correspondence between Gwyneth Lewis, publishers, agents, friends and the BBC concerning Zero Gravity (originally entitled Coconut Postcards), and in particular publication, the poems, proofs, contractual matters, publicity, distribution, royalties, reviews, broadcasts and performances, as well as other literary and personal business; together with a typescript transcript of a radio interview with Les Murray about Gwyneth Lewis’s work, and a contract and a catalogue from Bloodaxe Books; and related notes, photographs and press cuttings.
