Reversionary Lease for 31 years to commence on 29 Sept. 1641 or from the time of the surrender or forfeiture of a term of years now in being of the manor or farm of Kilford, the demesne lands of the same and Reckwall and all the herbage of the Park of Kilford in the lordship of Denbigh, reserving trees, wards, marriages, mines and quarries; covenants relating to repairs, that 2 will deliver within a year after the commencement of the lease and thereafter after 10 years an extent and terrier of the number of timber trees growing upon the premises and to preserve the same, that 2 will also plant trees, enrol the lease with the auditor of the premises within 6 months, and covenants relating to husbandry. Recites that the premises were granted to John Salisbury, esq., by letters patent in 1593, for 30 years to commence upon the determination of a former estate granted in 1544 to John Salisbury the younger, esq., to commence upon the determination of a grant to Humfrey Owine for a term of years ending in 1571 and recites that the premises were leased in 1624 for 13 years to commence on 29 Sept. 1641 and the said reversionary lease was granted to 2 in consideration of the surrender of this lease.
