Some are in the hand of Augusta Hall, Lady Llanover (ff. 8-13), and include tunes which were published in Maria Jane Williams, Ancient and National Airs of Gwent and Morganwg (Llandovery, 1844).

The volume includes the title page, dedication and preface (ff. i-v), contents (f. vi), a list of illustrations (ff. vii-xxi; the illustrations are not included), the main text (ff. 1-254) and bibliography (ff. 255-275). There are some manuscript annotations and corrections, with a number of significant additions (ff. 11, 67, 154 verso, 163 verso, 179 and 249 verso). The printed version includes a few additional changes and an index. A revised edition was published in 1944.

Roberts ('Caersallwg'), draper, Caernarfon, together with notes by him relating to temperance.

Llyfr nodiadau, [18 gan., canol], yn cynnwys meddyginiaethau a ryseitiau meddyginiaethol, ynghyd â detholiadau a nodiadau yn bennaf yn ymwneud â phynciau meddygol, iechyd a gwyddoniaeth. Ymddengys fel pe bai'r awdur wedi nodi darganfyddiadau meddygol a wnaed ganddo ef ei hun ar ff. 66 verso-7. = A notebook, [mid-19 cent.], containing remedies and medical recipes, together with notes and extracts mainly on medical topics, general health and science. It appears that the author has noted his own medical discoveries on ff. 66 verso-7.

A volume containing culinary and medicinal recipes collected by Mrs John Llewellin, [1850x1870], in which sources are named, dates sometimes given, and comments included on the quality of the resulting fare or remedy.

Letters, 1847-1873 and n.d., from Henry Griffiths of Brecon, Liverpool and Bowden, mainly relating to education in Wales and to the proposed Normal School at Brecon. One letter, 1854, contains adjudications in both Welsh and English by Griffiths on essays submitted for competition at an eisteddfod (see also a letter, 1854, relating to the adjudications), while another, 1862, to William Roberts, tutor at Brecon Independent College, relates to Griffiths's application for the Theological Chair at Carmarthen Presbyterian College.
Also included is a letter, 1889, from Samuel Job of Illinois; a letter, 1906, from Hugh Williams ('Hywel Cernyw') at Pontypridd; and a letter, 1928, from Caleb Lewis at Blaina, Monmouthshire. The last two letters relate to the Welsh periodicals of the time.

A volume, compiled [19 cent., first half], containing a number of homilies on moral and religious topics by an unidentified Quaker (inside front cover-f. 19); together with extracts from the manuscripts of John Kelsall, Dolobran, Montgomeryshire, comprising brief accounts, 1701-1712, of meetings of the Society of Friends, including those held at Dolobran and yearly meetings of the Society in Wales (ff. 19 verso-27).

Typescript draft by Ernest Lewis Thomas ('Richard Vaughan', 1904-1983) of his first novel, Moulded in Earth (London, 1951), with corrections by the author, being the final draft submitted to the publishers, incorporating a number of changes to the earlier manuscript draft (now NLW MS 14799C).

Eleven notebooks containing a draft script, [c. 1989], by Eigra Lewis Roberts, with some revision, of the fifth series of the television drama serial 'Minafon', produced by Ffilmiau Eryri for S4C and broadcast in eight episodes in 1990.

Research papers of the botanist Richard Henry Roberts, [1953]-[2002], a county recorder for the Botanical Society of the British Isles. The papers including field notes on plants in Anglesey, together with a copy of The flowering plant and ferns of Anglesey (Cardiff, 1982) by him and heavily annotated, and offprints of articles relating to his research.
