Barony of Powis,

Assignments of sums of £1,000 and £3000 dated 23 June 1740, 29 April 1741 and 29June 1742, an assignment of Lord Edward Herbert's debt of £400 charged on the barony of Powis, 13 Aug. 1741,a lease for 99 years of the manor of Strata Marcella, 1747, deeds to recover the barony of Powis, 1747, a deed of appointment of annuities, legacies, and charities made by James Travers, pursuant to a fourth codicil to the will of the late duke and marquis of Powis and charged upon the real estate of the said late duke, dated 22 Oct. 1748, all listed as being part of this parcel in 'Powis Castle Estate Register of Muniments of Title'(now DA1)are no longer extant, at least not in the present parcel.

Barony of Powis,

An Act for dividing, inclosing, and allotting Pool Common, 1761 (D6/22/3); an assignment by Viscount Folkestone and another to the Dowager Lady Folkestone, an assignment of bond from John Balthen to Rev. Thomas Edwards, 1761 (D6/22/6); allotment to the earl of Powis pursuant thereto, 1761 (D6/22/7); a mortgage from the Bailiffs, Aldermen and Burgesses of Poole to the Earl of Powis of that part of the common or waste ground specified in D6/22/9 which was not allotted to 2, now containing 8 inclosures for securing to 2 two sums of £224.2.7 which he had already paid and £15.15.8 which he was to pay, totalling £239.18.3, being the share of the expenses which the commissioners awarded to be paid by 1 and what 1 agreed to pay towards procuring the Act of Parliament and Award and preparing executing this deed, 1766 (D6/22/10) and an Act for vesting Albemarle House in trustees to be sold, 1766 (D6/22/11) all listed as being part of this parcel, in 'Powis Castle Estate Register of Muniments of Title'(now DA1)are no longer extant, at least not in the present parcel.

Borough of Llanfyllin Quarter Sessions

In addition to the occasional Quarter Session records (some only nominal) filed in the leet proceedings and appearing inter alia in the estreats of the leet courts of the manor or borough, are the following separate records and papers relating to the Quarter Session held before the bailiffs, as authorized by Llanfyllin's charter:oath rolls, 1703-1754 (MA 646-653), files and isolated papers, 1710-1820 (MA 654-670), and sacrament certificates, 1677-1761 (MA 671-673).
