The file comprises various political ephemera collected during the National Eisteddfod of Wales at Boduan in 2023 including material listing fringe events held at the Eisteddfod, Small Modular Nuclear Reactors, Welsh language education, Welsh in the workplace, second homes, a leaflet produced by Eryr Wen promoting the organisation and a Welsh language version of the Morning Star entitled "Seren y Bore"
Papers of Cymdeithas Gwenynwyr Cymru (CGC) / the Welsh Beekeepers' Association (WBKA), comprising WBKA constitutional and administrative papers, the latter including a significant amount of correspondence dating from the WBKA's establishment in 1943 to 2021; copies of WBKA periodicals and newsletters dating from the 1940s to the present day; material relating to grant applications, training and assessment, summer schools and conventions and to eisteddfodau and shows; documents and papers relating to the genetically modified (GM) crop debate and to pesticide control; items relating to the WBKA's 75th anniversary events in 2018; and a certain amount of miscellaneous material relating to the WBKA. Copies of 'A Catalogue of the Powys Collection at Mappowder' (273 ff.) and 'A Checklist of the Casey Collection at Mappowder' (15 ff.), both compiled in 2012 by Peter J. Foss, listing between them the entirety of the papers, books, photographs, etc., of Lucy Penny and Mary Casey then in the possession of Louise de Bruin in Mappowder, Dorset. Not all of the papers listed were offered for sale in 2023 or were then purchased by the National Library of Wales; large parts of those that were have been completely reordered. Consequently the catalogues are not a reliable guide to the contents of the archive now at NLW; they are nevertheless included as a snapshot of the entire Collection in its previous home, for the additional information they contain concerning the letters and for details of material not at the NLW. Also included is a copy of the Dominic Winter auction catalogue for 13-14 December 2023, listing the Mappowder Powys Collection (lots 672-687).
