Thirty volumes of sermon (and a few lecture) notes in Welsh by [John Roberts, Baptist minister, Glynneath] (d. 1890). They were written and/or delivered, during the period 1874-1890, with the exception of the first volume which contains sermons written by him as vicar of Ystradgynlais, 1851, and preached during the period 1851-1873. Correspondence of Lord Rendel. Unless otherwise stated the letters in this section are addressed to Lord Rendel. The collection also includes holograph letters and copies written by Rendel himself to various correspondents. There are also items relating to the correspondence of Lady Rendel and other members of the family and a few miscellaneous letters which passed between other persons.

Correspondence and related papers. The correspondence has been kept as George Ewart Evans arranged it, divided into two basic groups, namely official and private letters, although there is inevitably some degree of overlap between the groups. Where applicable the author's original titles for the files have been retained. Both groups contain examples of draft or copy letters sent by George Ewart Evans himself to various individuals or organisations. A small proportion of the items are written in Welsh. The related material includes notes, certificates, press cuttings and other printed items.

The group consists of political records and papers, 1868-2019, namely records relating to the political parties in Wales, 1887-2019, and various pressure groups and organisations, 1949-2003, subject files, 1868-2019, miscellanea, 1930-2003, and Isle of Man elections 2011-2017.

Correspondence of Aneurin Williams, [?1868]-1908, including letters addressed to him from his parents, his siblings and their spouses, and his cousins the Petherick family, 1879-1908; and letters from him to his parents and brothers, [?1868]1899; together with letters from his wife Helen to his mother, 1888-1899; papers relating to his role as executor of the wills of Mary Petherick and Elizabeth Bowman, 1878-1891; and miscellaneous personal papers, 1879-1898.

The correspondence includes over eight hundred love letters, 1921-1932, from John Cowper Powys to Phyllis Player; some six hundred and forty letters and cards, 1925 and 1935-1955, from Littleton Charles Powys to his brother, John Cowper Powys; some four hundred and fifty letters, 1942-1962, from John Cowper Powys and other members of his family to Gilbert Turner, and some three hundred and fifty letters, 1945-1969, from Turner to John Cowper Powys and Phyllis Player; and over two hundred letters, 1924-1967, from Alyse Gregory, widow of Llewelyn Powys, to Phyllis Playter.
