After the Birds/Po Ptakach

After the Birds/Po Ptakach was the product of collaboration between Earthfall and Polish theatre company Chorea, continuing the long-standing partnership between the two groups. Drawing on Aristophanes' comedy The Birds, the production combined ancient Greek choral song, contemporary music, vigorous dance, live music and film. Items comprise printed theatre programmes, posters and flyers; performance tickets; stage notes/directions; creative notes; printed volume charting the history of Chorea; article relating to Jim Ennis and Jessica Cohen; press notices; and reviews, including one featured in Planet magazine, October/November 2005 (bookmarked with printed Earthfall business card).

Stories from a Crowded Room

Stories from a Crowded Room was Earthfall's 25th anniversary production. The show was a highly sensory experience, involving vigorous dance, live music, text and encircling film. Items comprise printed theatre programmes and flyers; printed postcards for participating audience members; printed invitation to pre-show reception; and creative notes.

Letters, cards, printed emails and one fax (two letters incomplete, one juvenile card), [1960s]-2015, from the actress, producer, film attaché and reviewer Kate O'Toole to her mother Siân Phillips and to Siân Phillips and her third husband Robin Sachs. Most of the correspondence was written from Kate O'Toole's home in Ireland. One letter is annotated by Siân Phillips.

Letters to Siân Phillips from Pat O'Toole

Letters and cards, 1986-2015 and undated, from personal, business and development coach Pat O'Toole to her mother Siân Phillips and to Siân Phillips and her third husband Robin Sachs. One item shows a child's paint-smeared handprint, with, on reverse, in Pat O'Toole's hand, a note purporting to be from Jessica (Jessica Shayle O'Toole, daugher of Pat and granddaughter of Siân Phillips), then aged two and a half.

Accounts and expenditure

Material relating to the accounts and expenditure, 1945-2014, of the Welsh Beekeepers' Association; includes ledger book containing Welsh Beekeepers' Association accounts, 1968-1989. Together with documents outlining recommended practice for accounting and reporting on the part of charitable bodies.

Children and family

Material relating to the support and protection of children and young people living with their mother in Women's Aid refuges, with particular reference to Women's Aid's Children Matter campaign, which tackles domestic and sexual violence and other forms of abuse against children and young people. Included are children and young people's information and activity booklets, children's own responses to domestic violence and to living in a refuge and photocopied photographs of children's day-to-day lives within a refuge, together with a report relating to awareness campaigns aimed at schools.
