An interleaved volume (385 pp.) belonging to J. H. Davies made up of pages from Y Traethodydd, 1886-92 ('Hen Gerddi y Cymry', a catalogue of Welsh ballads compiled by John Jones ('Myrddin Fardd'), with pages 346-50 from Revue Celtique, II (part of a supplement [by D. Silvan Evans] to Llyfryddiaeth y Cymry). There are numerous additions and annotations by J. H. Davies, including cross-references to his own Bibliography of Welsh ballads printed in the 18th century (London, 1911) and an index to the authors, etc. of the pre-1800 ballads in the 'Myrddin Fardd' catalogue. The numbers used in the index correspond to the numbers in the 'Myrddin Fardd' catalogue while the page references are to the pages in the present volume.
