Music workbook,

Workbook compiled during the period 1918-1925, the earliest pieces were compiled with the help of his father, Theophilus Thomas. Most are scores copied from a book of children's hymn tunes, others are tunes compiled by Mansel Thomas.

Workbooks and manuscripts compiled during the period 1918-1930. The earliest workbook of music was compiled with the help of his father, Theophilus Thomas. The majority of this group date from the time he was at the Royal Academy of Music in London, and received his external B.Mus degree from Durham University.

Dance of the four clogs,

Manuscript full score of 'Dance of the four clogs', an arrangement for a quintet, together with parts for piano, violins, viola and cello. This arrangement was compiled between 1939-1940. Published: by Mansel Thomas Trust, Ref: MT122, under title of 'Welsh Traditional Melody Arrangements', arranged for piano quintet – 2 Violins, Viola, ‘Cello & Piano.
