'Y Llyfr hir or Mwythig', being a collection of five hundred and sixty-six cywyddau, etc. by various authors arranged into 'books' according to subject. The poems in each 'book' are numbered separately. The poets cited include Iolo Goch, Dafydd ap Gwilym, Siôn Cent, Iorwerth Fynglwyd, Bedo Brwynllys and Siôn Phylip. The volume is dated temp. James II (see p. 382). The text is followed by nine folios of index, arranged under authors' names, by Richard Morris. Following the index are three further poems (by Dafydd ap Gwilym, Siôn Cent and Dafydd ab Edmwnt) in the hand of the Reverend Samuel Williams. The volume is in the same hand as Llanstephan MSS 47, 48 and the end of 164.

A manuscript containing poetry, prophecies, 'histories', etc. and including 'Kynghorev Kattwn ddoeth ar bardd glas or gadeir' (pp. 27-29). The poets cited include Taliesin, Iolo Goch, Siôn Cent and Lewys Morganwg. The text beginning at p. 39 is imperfect and the end is wanting from the texts beginning at pp. 42, 80, 116. Four leaves, more or less fragmentary, by a later hand, have been bound between pp. 82 and 83, the end wanting from the text on the last leaf of this section. At p. 112b, c is a misplaced leaf containing English poetry.
A manuscript containing prophecies in prose and verse and including alleged prophecies of Myrddin and Taliesin and the works of Iolo Goch, Dafydd Llwyd and Rhys Nanmor. The text at p. 39b is said to be 'copied out of the Chronicle of Guttun Owain'. The text at the end beginning 'Proffwydoliaeth Banastr o Brydain fawr ...' is continued on p. 13 of the manuscript.

Cynwal'; the names of the Lord Chancellors of England, of the Bishops of Bangor down to William Roberts (bishop from 1637 to 1665), and of the Lord Presidents of Wales to John Egerton, Earl of Bridgewater (President from 1631 to 1642); followed (pp. 362-368) by poetry from a manuscript in the possession of Roger Salesbury of Rhug, the poets cited including Taliesin and Rhys Fardd. Pp. 1-351 are copied from the Red Book of Hergest.

A manuscript mainly containing cywyddau of Dafydd ap Gwilym (pp. 1-240). Pp. i-xviii are in the autograph of Moses Williams (1685-1742) and the remainder of the text in that of his brother Samuel Williams. P. i is headed 'Welsh names of Men & Women' and p. xviii is headed 'Librorum MSS. Catalogus'. Pp. 241-250 contain a table of contents. The one hundred and sixty three poems contained in the text have been numbered by Moses Williams's friend William Jones (1675-1749), who once owned the Shirburn collection of manuscripts.
A manuscript in the hand of John Jones, Gellilyfdy containing 'The Three Antiquities of Bryttaen' in six chapters. The material relates to the Welsh bards, the Welsh language and alphabet, and Welsh grammar.
A manuscript in the hands of the Reverend Samuel Williams, Moses Williams, Iaco ab Dewi and others, containing one hundred and sixty-eight numbered items, mainly poetry, including about two hundred and thirty-five triads (item 13). The poets cited include Taliesin, Bleddyn Fardd, Iolo Goch, Dafydd ap Gwilym, Siôn Cent and Siôn Phylip. Item 165 contains a genealogy of Welsh saints. Item 166 is a copy of cols 1165-1169 of the Red Book of Hergest. Item 167, which contains englynion, is in the hand of Edward Lhuyd, and was 'sent through the post to W. Baxter in Totnham Highcross near London'. Item 168 is a piece entitled 'A true Character ... of the Gentry within the Counties of Carmarthen, Pembroke and Cardigan during the Commonwealth'.

This text is followed by Gweddiau Teuluoedd by the Reverend Samuel Williams.
A manuscript containing transcripts by David Parry from the Red Book of Hergest, together with other poetry, the volume being compiled before it was given to Jesus College, Oxford in 1701. The contents of the volume are as follows: A Welsh Grammar copied from the Red Book of Hergest (col. 1117), with collations by Samuel Williams from Llanstephan MS 3, p. 472 (original foliation I-Vb, 1-7); a copy of the poetry on cols 1143-1356 of the Red Book of Hergest (original foliation 7-12b, original pagination 13-168, 169-265); followed by sixteen leaves at the end of the manuscript containing poems by Robin Ddu o Fôn, Tudur Aled, Rhys Nanmor and others, together with the pedigree of Sir Rhys ap Thomas. Samuel Williams has copied a good many of the older material in a modernised orthography on the side left blank by the original copyist. There are also marginalia in the hand of Moses Williams. A note, probably in the hand of Samuel Williams, on p. 265 (original pagination) reads 'All the Poetry collated March 27 . 1722'.

A manuscript containing the Life of Griffith ap Kynan in Welsh and Latin (original foliation 1-40); and the Burial of Arthur (original foliation 45-52). Ff. 1-52 (original foliation) are written on one side only. The text of the Life of Griffith ap Kynan is complete, and agrees practically with that printed in the Myvyrian Archaiology. It is followed (original foliation 1-43) by a Latinised version entitled 'Vita Griffini Regis Venedotiæ a Thelwello juris perito in Latinum conversa' - against which is written in the margin: 'dele in Codice Sebright' - with, below, the title 'Vita Griffini Filij Conani Regis Venedotiæ' - against which is written 'In Latinum tradita per Nicholas Robinson episcopum Bangoriensem [1566-1584] - Cod[ice] Seb[right]' (cf.
