Copi o'r llyfr, 'Y ferch ieuanc' gan y Parch. David Williams, Cwmyglo (Caernarfon, 1896), a roddwyd yn anrheg i Jennet Ann Richards, Hirwaun (30 Mai 1883 - 21 Awst 1971) yn 1897 oddi wrth ei thad. Yn nhu blaen y gyfrol, wedi'i phastio ar y dudalen gyntaf, mae llythyr ati oddi wrth O. M. Edwards ynghylch aelodaeth Urdd y Delyn. Priododd â Rhys Davies, Aber-craf, a buont yn byw yno am flynyddoedd. Bu farw Rhys Davies yn 1927 ac yn ddiweddarach symudodd Mrs Davies i Abertawe, lle y bu farw yn 1971.

Gwili Jenkins entered in the National Eisteddfod held at Llandudno in 1896, including two letters from Gwili, [1912], to the family of J. R.Owen, Gyfelog, Bwlchdewin, Porthmadog, one of them is written on headed notepaper [Gwynfryn School, Ammanford].

Copi o'r Beibl cyssegr-lan (Rhydychen, 1824) fu'n eiddo i Edmund Evans ('Utgorn Meirion'), un o'r gweinidogion fu'n ymweld â Richard Lewis (Dic Penderyn) cyn ei ddienyddio ar 13 Awst 1831. Mae enw Edmund Evans yn ymddangos yn nhu blaen y gyfrol a cheir amryw nodiadau yno ac ar dudalennau cyntaf y testun. Mae papur gyda nodiadau arno yn rhydd rhwng tt. 24-25. Ar yr ail dudalen o'r Testament Newydd gludwyd toriad papur newydd, 1879, gyda hanes marwolaeth Evan R. Evans, Cambria, Wisconsin, sef un o'i feibion. Gosodwyd papur hefyd ar ddiwedd y gyfrol yn cynnwys rhestr, yn llaw Edmund Evans, o ddyddiadau geni a marw ei blant ef a'i wraig Ellin. Yn ogystal, mae'r ffeil yn cynnwys toriad o erthygl gan y rhoddwr am hanes y Beibl a gyhoeddwyd ym mhapur y Daily Post, 3 Gorffennaf 2019. = Copy of the 'cyssegr-lan' Bible (Oxford, 1824) that belonged to Edmund Evans ('Utgorn Meirion'), one of the ministers who visited Richard Lewis (Dic Penderyn) before his execution on 13th August 1831. Edmund Evans's name appears in the front cover of the volume with various notes and on the first pages of the text. Handwritten notes are loose between pp.24-25. A newspaper cutting (1879) reporting the death of Evan R. Evans, his son, in Cambria, Winconsin, has been glued on the second page of the New Testament. At the end of the volume a list, in Edmund Evans' hand, states the dates of birth and death of his children with his wife Ellin. Additionally, the file also contains an envelope in which there is a newspaper cutting reporting the history of the Bible, published in the Daily Post, 3 July 2019.

Chess memorabilia

Memorabilia from Chess Olympiads, comprising a black backpack style bag produced for the 1990 Chess Olympiad, Novi Sad, Serbia (then Yugoslavia) which belonged to Welsh chess player Iolo Jones; together with Jones’ photo ID card pass issued to competitors in the 1992 Chess Olympiad in Manila, Philippines.

Chess Olympiad, Nice 1974

Papers relating to the FIDE (Fédération Internationale des Échecs) Chess Olympiad held in Nice, 1974, where the Wales team competed internationally for only the second time. The papers comprise issue 11 & 12 of 'Y Ddraig' magazine, which featured an extended report on the competition; a copy of the official FIDE record of Round 6 of the final matches, including the results of a game between Welsh player Iolo Jones and Lajos Portisch; and a copy of the official FIDE record of Round 9 of the final matches, including a match between famous chess players Lajos Portisch and Boris Spassky, and featuring the Wales team's results on p.3.

Y Ddraig magazine

Copies of 'Y Ddraig', the magazine of the Welsh Chess Union, edited by T. Llew Jones until 1976 and first published as 'Cylchgrawn Gwyddbwyll Canolbarth Cymru / Mid-Wales Chess Magazine'. The collection consists of issues 1-3, 6-7, 9-10, and 12-17 (1971-1976), some with notes and corrections by the editor, including issue 2 (1971), which listed all WCU officers; issue 4 (1972), which included results from the Wales/England match in Newport, July 1972, where Wales competed for the first as an independent nation in an international chess tournament; and issue 17 ([1976]), the last to be edited by T. Llew Jones.

The file consists of correspondence and papers relating to international chess tournaments, 1982-1986, including the British Championships; the Commonwealth Championships; the Dutch Open Chess Championship; the International Zone 1 Tournament; the European Team Championships; Lucerne Chess Olympiads; the World Chess Team Championships; the Mens' and Ladies' Chess Olympiads; the Wales v Ireland match; the European Clubs Cup; the Twinning Chess Competition; and the World Youth Team Championship. The file also contains some minutes of the W.C.U.International Committee (1985).

The file consists mainly of correspondence and papers relating to international chess tournaments, 1978-1981, including the European Team Championships; the British Chess Federation Congress and B.C.F. Championships; the Leigh Grand Prix; the Copenhagen Open; the Wales v Ireland 'Celtic Congress'; the 'Celtic' Triangular International Tournament; and the World Championship Zone 1 Tournament.
The file also contains a copy of the B.C.F. 'Yearbook of Chess 1981-82'' (1981).

The file also includes some W.C.U. Junior Committee minutes (1984-1986); a copy of the 'Junior News Yearbook' (1984); a book of press cuttings (1985-1988); and a Telegraph TV and radio guide (1996).
