A volume lettered 'Hanesion Llyn ac Eifionydd', being a collection compiled by John Jones ('Myrddin Fardd') of literary, historical and antiquarian material relating mainly to South Caernarvonshire. A manuscript by John Jones ('Myrddin Fardd') containing an introductory chapter ('Rhagymadrodd Enwogion') on the worthies of Llŷn and Eifionydd (subsequently amended in turn to Eifionydd and to Caernarvonshire), together with additional notes and press cuttings on the subject. One of the labels on the outer upper cover is numbered '13' and another is inscribed 'Eben Fardd .... ac Enwogion amryw'.

Inset are two letters, one incomplete, 1920-1, from Ifan ab Owen Edwards, Llanuwchllyn to 'Myrddin Fardd'.
