Most of the letters are from the literary agents, Laurence Pollinger Ltd, and publishers, J. M. Dent & Sons Ltd, and Gwyn Jones, Elwyn Evans, Kate Roberts, Belinda Humfrey and Roland Mathias are among the correspondents. Also included are related papers regarding the publication of the novel.
