1 Richard Worrall, Mary, his wife, Thomas Morris and Ankrett, his wife. 2 Sara ap Evan otherwise Walker and Martha ap Evan otherwise Walker, spinsters (the four dau's and co-heirs of the said dec.). Division of the tmt or dwelling house, barn, garden, and orchard late of Roger ap Evan otherwise Walker, late of Kington, Hereford, dec. Richard Worrall and Thomas Morris are to have that part of the said house which is next the street, viz., the shop and parlour with the alley reaching to the hall and the cellar and the two chambers and the two cock-lofts over the same shop and parlour, and two little holes at the stair for putting in of 'fflockes' and three rooms of the barn and a little 'sheere' and the stable on the north end, and in lieu thereof the said Sara and Martha are to hold the rest of the house, barn, etc. Next, the said Richard and Thomas are to enjoy the coming in from the street on the north side of the dwelling house and all the ground adjoining (except so much thereof as shall be sufficient to give light to the buttery windows in the garden) close to the 'collor' post of the Beashowse on the garden side along the fold to the post of division in the barn, and further from the stable to the third apple-tree of the first row in the orchard directly over unto a crooked apple-tree in the orchard hedge called the Maior tree and directly hence through the Rackclose and so directly to the little crab tree in the further hedge adjoining to Mr Holman's close. In consideration thereof the same Sara and Martha shall enjoy the residue of the orchard, fold, and Rackclose.

1 David Gwillim Powell of Glascomb, co. Rad., gent. 2 William Phillips of the city of Hereford, baker, and Owen Phillipps of Hereford, baker. Feoffment in consideration of £50 paid by Peter Gwillims of Westminster, corviser, son of the said David Gwillim Powell, of a m. and tmt wherein the latter dwells called Coed Merch y da, p. Glascomb, co. Rad., with all buildings, lands, etc., thereto pertaining in p's Glascomb and Llansanfred in Elvell, co. Rad., to the following uses, viz., one moiety of the m., etc. to the said David Gwillim Powell and Margaret, his wife, for life, and thereafter to the said Peter Gwillims, and the other moiety to the said David ap Gwillim Powell for life, and thereafter to the said Peter Gwillims.

1 Richard Jenkins the younger of p. Pylith, co. Rad., yeoman, son and heir apparent of Martha Jenkins, one of the dau's and co-heirs of Griffith Powell, late of p. Belthvach, co. Rad., yeoman, dec. 2 Richard Jenkins the elder of said p. Pylith, yeoman, father of the said Richard Jenkins the younger. Grant in consideration of £20 of all his share of one m. or tmt whereof the said Griffith Powell died seised, after whose death the said m., etc., descended to the said Martha and Bridgett as dau's and heirs of the said Griffith Powell, viz., the parcel of meadow lying beneath the dwelling house, land called the Two Acres beyond the Brooke, a parcel of land called Kay Gwyn, and the moiety of a coppice called Lloyne adjoining Kay Gwyn, all in p. and lp Blethvach.

St Mary le Bone, Middlesex, gent., son and heir of Joseph Morries, late of Kington, Herefordshire, tanner, dec. 2 Joseph Morris, his eldest son. 3 John Griffiths of Kington, tanner. Release for £205 of a m. near the bridge in Kington wherein John Griffiths dwells, with the tannery, etc.

1 John ap Ievan otherwise Walter of Kington, Herefordshire, fuller. 2 John Farr of Kington, gent., and William Driver of Ameley, Herefordshire, gent. Settlement before the marriage of Roger ab Ievan, son and heir apparent of the said John ap Ievan and Margaret Farr, daughter of the said John Farr, and in consideration of £40 marriage portion, of a m. and tmt in Kington wherein the said John ap Ievan now dwells, the close called Racke Closse (1 a.) with the 'ruckes or teynters' thereupon standing, being in bor. Kington between the lands of Oliver Vaughan, gent., dec., and the lands of Phillipp Greneley on the north part and the tmt of John Scaundret in the occupation of Sibill Scaundret, widow, on the south part and stretching in length from the street and highway there on the west part to the lands of Edward Broughton, gent., and to the lands of the said Phillipp Grenely on the east part. On dorse: memorandum that the new house of John ap Ievan with the plock of ground thereto belonging do not pass by this indenture. Witnesses: Richard Stringham, Raph Hergest, Henry Gittins, Charles Abiven.
