Adysgrifau 'Gwilym Cowlyd',

Transcripts by W. J. Roberts from a manuscript by Foulk Wynn of Nantglyn ( NLW Add. MS 263B), manuscripts in the possession of Evan Evans and David Evans, Llanrwst, a list of contents (with extracts) of a manuscript in the possession of J. W. Griffith, solicitor, Llanrwst (NLW MS 6209E ); a sheet from a manuscript written by Angharad Llwyd ('englynion coffadwriaeth Ann Shearer, mamaeth teulu Mostyn' by Robert Davies, Nantglyn, 'englyn ar Gastell Conwy', 1823, by Samuel Evans, Welsh verses exchanged between Miss Cotton and Mrs R. Eyton, and a Celtic-Latin-Saxon vocabulary); and an extract from Peniarth MS 40, with variant readings from Welsh laws (?by Aneurin Owen).

Gwilym Cowlyd and Angharad Llwyd.

Albwm llofnodion, &c.

An album of annotated autographs, photographs and engravings, printed matter, press cuttings, etc., compiled during the years 1858-1881. The volume is almost entirely devoted to persons who were prominent in the literary and musical life of Wales during this period, and it appears from internal evidence to have been well known to the compiler's friends and contemporaries. The autographs are largely in the form of personal entries, recorded mainly at national and other eisteddfodau, but there are also a number of mounted holograph letters, 'cut-out' signatures from holograph letters, and franks.
