The minutes for February 1916-February 1918 then continue to the end of the volume (ff. 39-87, rectos only) which is then inverted and the minutes continued to July 1919 (ff. 53 verso-74 verso, 77 verso-86 verso, versos only).

Press cuttings have been pasted on the front and back cover of the volume relating to awarding him the Military Cross in 1917 'for conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty', and his obituary, 1943. Also included is an indenture of apprenticeship of William Williams to Messrs Williams and Metcalfe, Aberystwyth, 11 February 1889; testimonials and certificates of discharge, 1895-8, and his certificate as second engineer, 20 April 1897; and notes, taken by the donor's mother, of sermons preached at the Calvinistic Methodist Church, Llandudno.

Nurse's First World War album,
An album, 1912-1930, 1965, which belonged to Bell Crossfield, the donor's aunt, who was a nurse during the First World War at the Morfa Camp, Conwy, including poems and pen sketches by soldiers from the Third Border Regiment recovering from their battle injuries.
Diary of Thomas Davenport Twist,
The diary of soldier Thomas Davenport Twist (Tommy Twist), 1915, who served with the Welsh Regiment during the First World War until he was wounded, and documents relating to his military career and other papers. He was born and brought up in Lancashire, England, and moved to Ammanford. A brief typescript biography and transcriptions of his diary and documents have been included with the items.

Papers, 1916-1918, 1937, of Edmund Davies of Dyffryn Ardudwy, Merionethshire, relating to his service with the 17th Royal Welch Fusiliers during the First World War.
They include a notebook containing maps of places in France and Belgium connected with the fighting; correspondence with Edmund Davies's parents, informing them of the injuries sustained at the Ypres Salient in Belgium in February 1917 and including permits to allow them to visit him in hospital at Fermoy, Ireland; and a letter from the American Consul in Liverpool, 1937, advising Edmund Davies on possible American citizenship as he was born in Kansas City.

An exercise book containing poems apparently written by a soldier from Anglesey [J. Thomas, Llangwyllog] during the Great War 1914-1918. Among the titles are 'Deigryn ar fedd cyfaill a laddwyd ar y Somme yn 1916', 'Fechgyn Hen Eglwys a gwympodd yn y Drin', 'Memorial Hall Bodwrog', 'General Owen Thomas A. S. Môn', and 'Arwyr Rhosgolyn'.

Llythyrau o'r Rhyfel Byd Cyntaf,
Some sixty letters and cards in Welsh, 1914-1916, from Captain David Jones of the 10th Battalion (1st Rhondda) Welch Regiment, killed in the offensive on Mametz Wood in July 1916. Written to his mother in Llanio, Cardiganshire, they include an account of his experiences on active service in France (ff. 1-95).
Also included are letters, 1916-1925, relating to the death of David Jones and other related papers, 1909-1966 (ff. 96-176). His printed military hymnbook, 1914 (ff. 177-215), and a copy of E. W. Wilcox, Poems of Hope (London, [?1915]) (ff. 216-311) are inside the back cover.

Papers, 1915-1917, of the Llanrhystyd Soldiers Fund, set up to provide comforts for men from Llanrhystud, Cardiganshire, serving in the War. They comprise fifty-nine letters and cards, December 1915-July 1917 (mostly in English, with ten in Welsh), from servicemen expressing gratitude for supplies of food, clothing and cigarettes (NLW MS 16201C (i), ff. 1-14, 16-24, 28-47, 49-79); together with five notebooks of minutes and accounts (NLW MS 16201C (ii-vi)), and other administrative papers (NLW MS 16201C (i), ff. 15, 15a, 25-27, 48, 80-90), 1915-1916.
