A collection of poetry transcribed by Dafydd Marpole during the period 1775-80. It includes 'cerddi', 'ymddiddanion', 'penillion', 'carolau', 'dyrïau', 'englynion', etc. by Evan Williams (1774), Rowland Hughes ('or Bala'), John (Sion) Griffydd, Hugh Morris, Roger Jones, R. Evan, Dafydd Marpole, Joseph Marpole (1767), John Marpole, Dafydd Evans ('o Lan Silin'), Morys Robert ('o blwy Maentwrog'), John Cadwaladr, Harri Bynner ('o blwy Llanfyllin'), Owen Gruffydd, Mr Jones ('Ficar Llan bryn Mair'), Arthur Jones, Gryffyd[d] Edward ('o Lanfyllin') and Robin Ragad, and anonymous poems. There are numerous critical and textual observations by the scribe. Pp. 15-89 were transcribed from Cwrtmawr MS 231.
