Note-book containing disarranged notes on Dafydd ap Gwilym's poetry in its medieval context, and on elements found therein which are also common to the French and English compositions of the period. These include several French quotations. 105 ff.; ff. 1-6., 9-19, 14-16, 18, 22, 27, 42, 46-7, 50, 54, 58-9, 74, 90, 95, 98-9 are used. Also, a note, in French, on the word galloys as found in a 15th century poem, on separate leaves, 2 ff. [Some of this material is related to the contents of W. J. Gruffydd's book Dafydd ap Gwilym, published by Gwasg Prifysgol Cymru, Cardiff, 1935].
