John Rees Bequest 08 : [Views in France II]

This is an album of postcards (mainly photomechanical prints) from all over France. Most are postally unused. Those postally used are addressed to Miss Rees, Berthlwyd, Blaenffos Pembs by 'John'[Rees] from the Ardeche (1909), Corsica (1912), Paris (1927). The sender appears to have been teaching in France. One (dated 1916) is addressed to John Rees, 39848 Batt RWF

John Rees Bequest 10 : [Views in France III]

This is an album of postcards (mainly photomechanical prints) of views in France. Most are of principal tourist attractions, though there are some of small villages, war damage and other WW1 related subjects.The vast majority are postally unused. One is to John Rees from a friend in the Ardeche pu 1912, another from John Rees to his sister sent whilst on active service, July 1916.
