The sermons were preached at the following places: Rumney, 1747-1751, Llanedern, 1748-1756, St. Mellons, 1749-1754, Llanvihangel y Vedw, 1754-1759, Llanhennock, 1762-1773, Malpas, 1759-1767, Caerleon, 1759-1770, Aberyskir, 1748-1752, Battle, 1750-1751, and Trallong, 1750-1751.

A volume of sermons lettered 'Pregethau Cymraeg 8'. The sermons were preached at Caerleon, 1765-1773, Malpas, 1761-1771, Llanhennock, 1761-1772, St Woollos, 1761-1773, and Tredynnock, 1772. All except two are in the same hand, probably that of Thomas Evans. The last two sermons are in different hands, one dated 1727, and the other, undated, in a slightly earlier hand.
