A considerable part of the volume is devoted to extracts from the Old and New Testaments in English and Welsh (sometimes grouped together as illustrative of specified ideas or subjects - 'Iesu Grist yn Ddyn', 'Iesu Grist yn ddarostyngedig i'r Tad', 'Aberth Crist', 'Divine Unity', etc.) and lists of textual references from the two Testaments grouped under headings such as 'Mab Duw', 'Mab y Dyn', 'Meibion Duw', 'Iachawdwriaeth', 'Satan', 'Yspryd Glân', 'Crist', and similar topics.
