Administrative history
The Cefn Croes Action Group (CCAG) was established in 2000, initially to campaign against the development of Cefn Croes, the building of the Cefn Croes wind farm, and the use of Forestry Commission land for purposes other than forestry, and subsequently against the development of on-shore wind farms generally. By 2011, CCAG ceased to be an active campaigning group, becoming 'responsive' rather than proactive, and was presumably wound up by 2017.

Appraisal, destruction and scheduling
Most of the files are incompletely sorted, and contain extraneous material. There are also several files of miscellaneous correspondence and unsorted material. Many letters etc. are photocopied, and the same letter may be filed in more than one file. Obvious duplicates within the same file have been weeded, but no attempt has been made to weed across files. Unsorted newspaper cuttings and some unannotated printed material already held by NLW have also been weeded.
