Re-opening to the Public
The Reading Room is open to the public with a restricted service. You will have to book your place online before your visit. For more details on this and to read strict guidelines regarding the nature of the restricted service and what is expected of you go to Guidelines on re-opening .
Browse and search the Archives and Manuscripts of The National Library of Wales and make requests to view items in the Library.
Please note that wills, marriage bonds or Theses Collection Wales can only be discovered in the Catalogue.
You can now search through pdf versions of the Annual Reports 1909-2000 on the NLW website.
You will need to register as a reader in order to view items in the Library. If you have already registered, please login in the top right hand corner of the page.
Registering online will allow you to request items to view in the Library and may give you access to some Subscriptions from home (see What can I access?)
