Account book of SWW, mentions (p. 24) the placing of a stained glass memorial window (probably in Rhaeadr Church, and probably a memorial to Catherine James, who died in 1863), by THE, SWW, Mrs Sarah James, Mrs and Miss James, Worthing, Sarah and Margaret James, at a cost of £20 11s. 6d. (paid by cheque on 24 July 1868). Made by Hardman and Co., the window was installed by William Evans, builder. The address of Mrs James and Miss Eliza James was 1 Ambrose Place, Worthing; and Miss Catherine Jane James was of 24 St John's Road, Tunbridge Wells. Page 25 tells of stone for her grave memorial being brought from Shrewsbury; p. 26 gives full details of the estate of Jane James (d. 1866); pp. 73-83 gives the estate of Emma Bowring, SWW being her executor; p. 136 (and others) tell of SWW's involvement in the construction of Erwood Bridge, 1878-1881; pp. 183-198 give SWW's household accounts; pp. 213-216 gives the estate of Catherine Jane James.
